Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervision: Oversee the proper implementation of rules, regulations, and guidelines issued by the Deputy of Treatment and the Drug Office in affiliated healthcare institutions

• Coordination: Work closely with the Deputy of Education and Health to manage outpatient and inpatient care in a way that does not disrupt or reduce educational activities.
• Planning and Efficiency: Develop strategies to improve the efficiency of affiliated educational and healthcare institutions during both working and non-working hours, and propose and  implement special plans to accelerate the treatment of inpatients and outpatients.
• Development of Specialized Programs: Plan and expand the implementation of advanced specialized procedures (e.g., kidney transplant, corneal transplant, heart transplant) within the framework of central regulations and guidelines.
• Oversight of Affiliated Institutions: Supervise university-affiliated hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and private and charitable medical centers.
• Evaluation and Standards: Monitor and evaluate compliance with standard guidelines in departments and outpatient clinics.
• Paraclinical Services Supervision: Oversee paraclinical services in affiliated healthcare institutions.
• Private Sector Oversight: Supervise private medical offices and institutions.
• Licensing and Authorization: Issue establishment licenses, technical manager approvals, and preliminary agreements for private and public medical centers and institutions.
• Human Resources Planning: Assess specialist workforce needs and take action to recruit physicians and paramedics.
• Handling Complaints: Address patient complaints and concerns.
• Support for Special Patients: Organize and assist care for patients with special needs.
• Addiction Treatment Management: Manage services for patients with substance dependency.
• Procurement and Optimization: Purchase and optimize medical equipment for healthcare centers.
• Laboratory and Diagnostic Services Development: Plan for quantitative and qualitative expansion of laboratory and diagnostic services in both public and private sectors across the province.
